He graduated fromMoscowStateUniversityand graduated from theInstituteofInternational Economicand Political Research of theRussianAcademyof Sciences. He was trained at theInternationalCenterof the World Trade Union Organization (Turin,Italy), J. Kennan Institute for Russian Studies (Washington,USA), and had a Soros Foundation Grant.

Organized and held Investment Forums in Los Angeles, Milan, San Francisco, international conferences in Austria, Germany, USA, China, as well as conferences and business seminars in Moscow for foreign entrepreneurs, including in cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia (2000-2006), European Business Club, Representative Office of the German Economy in the Russian Federation, Association of Russian Banks and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (2001), the K. Adenauer Foundation (2004), conferences and seminars on risk management in Russia and abroad. For 15 years he headed the RSPP Club of Directors, was the responsible secretary of the All-Russian contest "Best Russian Enterprises," a member of the jury of the contest "Entrepreneur of the Year."

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Risk Management Federations (IFRIMA).
